परंपरा में 18 से ऊपर स्वीकार्य, 24 से ऊपर अच्छा और 32 से ऊपर बहुत अच्छा माना जाता है। पर अंक पूरी कहानी नहीं है — कौन-से गुण मिले यह कितने मिले से ज़्यादा मायने रखता है, और मंगल तथा दोनों की दशाएँ अलग से देखी जाती हैं।Tradition treats above 18 as acceptable, above 24 as good and above 32 as very good. But the score is not the whole story — which gunas matched matters more than how many, and Mars and both dashas are examined separately.
